FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CHICAGO, IL - MARCH 17TH, 2026

On behalf of our entire organization, I am proud to officially announce the Chicago Union — Chicago's franchise in the National Collegiate Development
Conference (NCDC).
The name Union carries weight. It represents the soldiers who stood shoulder to shoulder through the toughest battles in American history — fighting for something greater than themselves. Discipline. Brotherhood. Sacrifice.

Those aren’t just words to us. They are the foundation of this organization.
As General Manager, I can promise this: every decision we make, every player we bring in, and every standard we set will be built around those values. This is not a program for everyone.

This is a program for competitors. For players who embrace accountability, willing to push beyond comfort, to earn every inch, every shift, every opportunity.
Because in Chicago, nothing is given. Everything is earned.
We will build a culture rooted in toughness, unity, and purpose — a team that reflects the heart of this city and the legacy behind the name we carry.
The Chicago Union will stand

together, battle together, and represent this city with pride as we begin a new chapter of elite
junior hockey.
Chicago Union — We Stand Together. Welcome to the Union.
Pete Olson — General Manager, Chicago Union
